Empowered Agents-Reg
We requested the Management the necessity and
importance of empowering the Empowered Agents. We request you to consider the
following suggestions and implement the same:
1.
To
display the date of birth, nature of age proof and name of nominee in the
status.
2.
To
generate Status Report similar to Branch Office Status Report.
3.
To
effect change of address.
4.
To
effect Change of Nomination.
5.
To
facilitate issue of Consolidated Premium Paid Certificate for Income Tax
purposes.
6.
To
remit premia collected within 48 hours excluding holidays.
7.
To
issue loan quotation and second loan quotation after deducting the previous
loan.
8.
To
display loan interest for previous and current loans.
9.
To
accept loan interest and loan repayment.
10.
To
accept COC Premia.
11.
To
accept Cash or DD for Cheque Dishonoured Cases.
12.
To permit S.R. Amount up to Rs. 10/-
13.
To provide functioning of Claims Enquiry
Window.
14.
To
provide Loan Status Window
L.I.C. is spending Crores of Rupees on Satellite
Offices whose functions at present are mostly similar to Empowered Agents. In
fact these offices are nothing but Collection Points. Mini Offices are being
run at huge expenditure by LIC without much benefit to the Agent. We hope you
will take special interest in implementing the points raised by us.
